 Participants

Museum of Tolerance Teams

The primary activity of the participants is to attend the MOT training in Southern California.  It is proposed that all participants be asked to commit to participation in follow-up activities with their campus community, in their classes and/or at the District subsequent to their trip.  Two teams of 20 individuals each are selected from each campus in the District and from the Chancellor’s Office. Selection criteria are determined by each campus and the Chancellor’s office individually to determine participants and wherever possible should reflect a balance among new hires and veterans, disciplines or areas of expertise and gender.

Campus-based FASDAC Teams

The primary occupation of the Campus-Based FASDAC Teams is to keep the MOT message alive and vital by engaging campus facilitators or a panel of faculty and staff to address faculty specific or support services specific forums, host MOT alumni reunions, and help organize other activities on campus outside of flex days to advocate further the message of tolerance, compassion and understanding.

Participants

Participation is voluntary and all regular employees are eligible to attend.   Adjunct faculty members who have worked for the District for at least six continuous semesters may participate, however priority may be given to regular, full-time employees.
